The Late Greats Santa Mix

For the second holiday music mix, I have compiled 24 tracks about that fat, jolly dude from the North Pole. There may be better versions of some of the songs out there (i.e. Eartha Kitt’s Santa Baby is far better than the Pussycat’s) but the theme that binds this mix together is ridiculousness. Whether it’s the inclusion of two Lynyrd Skynyrd songs (yes, Skynyrd did indeed release an Xmas album), a Slim Shady parody or the Cheech and Chong classic, this is one goofy mix of Santa-centic tunes.

~ Brave Combo: Santa’s Polka

~ Lynyrd Skynyrd: Santa Claus Wants Some Lovin’

~ Jessica Simpson: I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

~ Mark Anthony: Mama’s Twistin’ With Santa

~ They Might Be Giant: Santa’s Beard

~ Pussycat Dolls: Santa Baby

~ Sujan Stevens: Come On! Let's Boogey to the Elf Dance!

~ Vonda Shepard: The Man With The Bag

~ The Brian Setzer Orchestra: Boogie Woogie Santa Claus

~ Brave Combo: Must Be Santa

~ The Chesterfield Kings: Hey Santa

~ Lynyrd Skynyrd: Santa’s Messin’ With The Kid

~ Lisa Nicole Carson: Santa Claus Got Stuck In My Chimney

~ Burl Ives: Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

~ Elvis Presley: Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane)

~ JapeTV.com: The Real Slim Santa

~ Kurt Elling: Cool Yule

~ Romonas: Santa’s Got A GTO

~ Dr. Elmo: Goin’ On A Date With Santa

~ Andre Williams: Poor Mr. Santa

~ Belle & Sebastian: Santa Claus Goes Straight To The Ghetto

~ Sufjan Stevens: Get Behind Me, Santa!

~ Captain Beefheart: There Ain’t No Santa Clause On The Evenin’ Stage

~ Cheech & Chong: Santa Claus & His Old Lady
