Album Review ~ Brandi Carlile: The Story
I hate that I enjoy this album. Hate that with each listen, I like it more and more. There is something appealing about Brandi’s voice, about her catchy songs, about her pop-folk-rocky sound. I shouldn’t like music this un-critically acclaimed. But I do. I like it a lot. Maybe you will, too?

I, too, feel the faint tinge of shame singing along with Ms. Carlile. But I console myself with the maxim that there's nothing wrong with GOOD pop.
And this is good pop.

This is not usually the type of music I listen to but when I heard "The Story" I couldn't stop playing it over and over so I bought the CD. Her voice is fantastic!
