Now you should do a post on the band "Shoes". Power pop goodness. Been waiting for Jefito to do one, but no luck.

Patty Griffin - Burgundy Shoes

I'm thinking of:

--An old blues song called "Country Shoes."

--"Angels Want to Wear My Red Shoes" by Elvis Costello

--"I Can't Wait," bad 80s dance music by Nu Shooz

--And "Twenty-Five Miles" by Edwin Starr ("I got to keep on walkin'")

Nice Post! You need to add "Good Old Shoe" by Edgar Winter. He wrote it for the movie Wag The Dog, and Willie Nelson performed it in the movie. It's not only a great song about shoes but it's a fantastic blues song.

BTW: I've just posted five different music videos for These Boots Are Made For Walking: 5 These Boots Are Made For Walking Videos.
