Party Tunes Tuesday ~ Drop Your Guns or Mieka vs. Meiko
To learn more about Mieka Pauley, read my article over at BTR. This post here today is about the serendipity of Mieka and meiko.
Last week, I got Mieka’s album “Elijah Drop Your Gun” and meika’s song How Lucky We Are was the free from iTunes.
The former is from Boston, the ladder is from L.A. Far as I can tell, their music is close in style, feel and emotion. Although Mieka has more crunch than meiko.
They are made to be posted together.

Meiko, though....whoa...she's head & shoulders above Pauley.
Smooth sounds, really REALLY relatable lyrics...

I'm really digging this Meiko stuff (Meiko with an O, not an A)..
In fact, I caught my daughter singing along to one of the songs while the music was playing in the living room and she was by herself.
How cute!
(side note: Meika with an A is good too, but, I like MeikO's lyrics a lot better.)
