A Beta-Alpha-Cal Glance At My Favorite 10 Albums From 2007 v7.0

This was my first take on Jeremy Fisher: “This cat is the new Paul Simon! Jeremy Fisher writes catchy and witty songs everyone should listen to. I expect this soon-to-be-superstar Canadian to set the Blogsphere ablaze.” (from this post).

Sadly, he didn’t set the music-blog-o-web on fire. And I don’t know why. His songs are more infectious than the common cold. His vocals are cleaning and purer than driven snow. His lyrics are more poetic than Thom Yorke or Chris Martin or Sufjan Stevens. I hope as 2008 whacks us in the nose, Jeremy Fisher is guy who fields the opening kickoff and returns it for a touchdown.

I agree. This album is great. After your post I went out and bought it without regrets. He needs new management.
