Mix ~ 2007 Wild/Mild Holiday Music
I struggled this year. Compiling a single disc of holiday tunes I liked. At first I tried to make a mix that started out with a bang and then winds down to a mellow ending. But I had a difficult time cutting down the number of songs.
So I decided to make a 2 disc mix. I wanted to include some non-Christmas music, hence the inclusion of some Chanukah songs, some anti-Christmas songs, some humorous songs and some that focus on the darker side of the holiday season.
Hopefully there are some songs you haven’t heard before. Happy Holidays from The Late Greats (blog)

Wow, wow, wow. What a collection. Amazing.
I hope your holidays are great!
Great list. Always look forward to your mixes. I'm going to throw up a link to this page over on my blog, 77 Santas. Happy holidays!
Damn you, Duke. I was not going to download any Christmas music this year, other than a mix prepared by a collaborator on the touchedmix.wordpress.com blog (and you totally want to check out the decidedly leftist post on right-wing rock there, including John Lennon's neo-con propaganda from beyond the grave).
Aaaaanyway, some of the stuff you've posted made me break my resolve. Alexi Murdoch. Colbie Caillat. EBTG. Jill Sobule. Thank you.
Thanks, Late Greats! Happy Holidays!
many thanks :)

Wow thanks. I think you just saved Christmas day with a house full of guests (and possibly just added a few more artists to my wishlist). Keep up the great work.
