Instrumental Thursdays ~ Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey

Wanna know a little secret about the Jacoby Fred Jazz Odyssey? No one in the band is named Jacob or Fred.

The Fred will be releasing a new album called “Lil Tae Rides Again” on April 8th. Their first studio album in three years was produced by Tae Meyulks. An 11 song opus that reminds me of music from 1970s Sci-Fi films like Zardoz .

Or at least, while I listen, I see characters traveling through a heavily stalactited cave where evil lurks around every bend.

Or possibly, the music you might hear at one of the shows you go to at the planetarium with the stars and comets.

These are enjoyable images that get conjured up. I loved spelunking as a kid and those astrological shows are great when you’re stoned.
