I love the Glen Miller version. Mariachi Brass replaced the sax with a trumpet and sound like a 1960s game show theme song! Brian Setzer is, as always, the most energetic of the bunch. Thanks for the terrific post!

Glenn Miller does outclass the other two here. The Chet Baker one is just weird, and Setzer rushes it and generally overdoes things.
I use to have a cassette tape that had a mix of songs from that era. It had Tangerine, You Made Me Love You, and things like that. It had the best version of Pennsylvania 65000 that I can't find again. I don't think it had the bell. I could just listen to it over and over. Wish I could find it again. :(
