Why The F*ck Is No One In America Blogging About ∞ Christa Couture

Sometimes, it seems that other countries to Americana better than Americans (ex. The Waifs from Australia and The Be Good Tanyas from Canada). Christa Couture falls into this category. She is a rising star from Vancouver.

Her second full length album – The Wedding Singer and the Undertaker – comes out May 20. It was produced by Futcher (The Be Goods), who added horns and strings and many other things to Christa’s wonderful songs.

This is even more proof that 2008 Is The Year Of Canadian Music.
