Random Friday ∞ Jazz Week 2009 Is Coming!

April is Jazz Appreciation Month. In honor of that, The Late Greats will be featuring Jazz all next week. Here is a smidgen of what’s to come.

I have to give props to my musical partner, Coconut (Joe). He was the one who talked me into getting the new Bad Plus album. The trio is joined by Wendy Lewis, who lends her terrific pipes to the instrumental group. It is a fantastic jazz-rock album. If you’ve never heard The Bad Plus, this is a great place to start.
