My Favorite Song This Week

If you have been reading Late Greats (The Blog) for some time, you know The Duke loves folk music. In fact, gun to my head, I would call it my favorite genre – mostly because it is so open ended.

I predict Nathan Moore is the next great “folk singer”. I was surprised to see no Hype Machine for Nate. And not much at Elbo.ws. Nathan has been churning out folk tunes for years. He recently toured with Late Greats favorite Devon Sproule. He has an EP coming out next month on Royal Potato Family – Folk Singer. A sweet collection of well-written folk songs, complete with harmonica.
