Before I got this email, I really only knew Hawksley as the producer of Jeremy Fisher’s excellent Goodbye Blue Monday. Turns out Mr. Workman has won a couple of Junos and has his own singer-songwriter career. He is not just a producer.
He is hitting the road this fall to commemorate a US release of his debut. Listen to the leadoff song below and hopefully, you dig like I dig.

ACK! Hawksley is among my very most favourite artists -- so much so that the first time I saw him live, I drove an hour to see his show the next night.
GO see him if he's anywhere near you! He is amazing and theatrical and passionate in concert. GO!
